THIRD ASEAN MILITARY MEDICINE CONFERENCE

“Pandemic Preparedness: Enhancing Readiness to Respond to and Manage Infectious Disease Outbreaks”

25-26 May 2021

The Third ASEAN Military Medicine Conference will be hosted virtually by the Medical and Health Services, Royal Brunei Armed Forces on 25 May 2021 and 26 May 2021 from 0900H until 1630H (GMT +8).

In light of the ongoing efforts in addressing the challenges brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic, the theme of the virtual event will be “Pandemic Preparedness: Enhancing Readiness to Respond and Manage Infectious Disease Outbreaks”.

The two-day virtual event will be featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops, covering the following main topics:

a) Addressing Pandemics through Population Health-based Approaches

b) Resources Management during Pandemics

c) Innovation and Health Technology for Pandemics

Military medicine communities from the ADMM-Plus countries are cordially invited to participate in the event. To participate, submission of the following online registration form is required no later than 2 May 2021.

Please take note on the following:

a) Each ADMM-Plus country will only be given up to THREE accounts to access the two-day virtual event.

b) Only ONE registration form is required from each ADMM-Plus country.

c) The final list of speakers, facilitators and participants will be subject to approval. The final list will be notified by 10 May 2021.

Panel discussions will involve 45 minutes of discussion between moderators and three speakers, followed by 15 minutes of Question and Answer session with other participants.
